How did you spend your Earth Hour?


We lit candles in preparation... Here's a pair on a repurposed butter dish.


I spent the hour with a wee babe (OK, not so wee) sleeping blissfully while I journaled his long-over due birth story. Can't believe I hadn't written it in his journal yet.


Time well spent.

Toddler Serenity Prayer

My mantra for the day... or year:

God grant me the serenity to accept that I have a two year-old;
The courage to know I cannot change her;
And the wisdom to back down from arguments I can't win.
